This cranked woodworking chisels made with a hardwood handle and a steel hoop fitted to the striking end of handle to resist splitting.
The chisel blades are a lot thicker than ordinary firmer chisel blades and are carefully forged, correctly hardened and tempered, then hardness-tested to guarantee edge retention. This chisel has a very thick and long socket for added strength and durability. Blades are honed and sharpened ready for use.
