SOLD - 12 Marples Carving Chisels Ref: WC36 A boxed set of 12 mahogany handled woodcarving chisels made by Marples. Collection includes: 1 x 12mm vee carving tool, 1 x 6mm vee carving tool, 1 x 8mm skew chisel, 1 x 14mm square end chisel (bevel on both sides), 1 x 3mm spoon chisel, 1 x 6mm curved shallow gouge, 1 x 13mm straight deep gouge, 1 x 16mm straight shallow gouge, very tip of blade has some minor pitting and staining. 1 x 14mm straight shallow gouge, small patch of minor pitting to underside of blade. 1 x 9mm straight gouge, 1 x 1.5mm veiner tool, has large chip to blade (requires grinding) 1 x 3mm straight gouge. This collection of Marples carving tools and gouges have seen little use and measure from 222mm up to 242mm long overall.
