"A quick update and some feedback for you. The plane arrived with a cheery ring on my doorbell at 7:30 this morning. Very well packed and I’m delighted with it. I bought this plane to use rather than as a ‘concours’ exhibit, but it’s in really nice condition, even down to a decent edge on the blade. I’m really happy with it, and also must compliment you on your sensible prices – I can’t believe what some people are advertising old woodworking tools for! If I wanted a mint unused example I’d expect to pay over the odds, but some dealers don’t seem to differentiate between a ‘mint’ one and a good, well cared-for ‘user’.
I’d gladly buy from you again - don’t suppose you have a similar condition Record No. 5 (or 5 1/2) tucked away somewhere do you.....? Many Thanks,".
