Brass back dovetail saw made by Thos Turner made with an open beech handle that is fitted with 2 brass split nut screws, handle has chip to bottom spur and is marked with the previous woodworkers name stamps. Brass back is marked Thos Turner & Co Encore Sheffield, refined cast steel improved. Blade is marked with some speckling of pitting plus a patch of heavy pitting. Blade requires sharpening.

Beech handled dovetail saw made by Tyzack. Brass back is marked S.Tyzack.Son Ltd Railway Arch, 343 & 345 Old Street EC1, Silver Steel. Blade is marked S Tyzack Son Ltd, trade mark Zyto regd, 343 & 345 Old St ECI, Best warranted quality. Handle has two brass buttons. Good clean blade, requires sharpening.

An old beech open handled dovetail saw marked to steel back Melvin London, Advance. Handle is fitted with split two nuts. Blade is marked with some minor specking of pitting/ staining. This old collectalbe tool has a slight bend in the saw blade and two teeth are missing.

Brass back dovetail saw made by Spear & Jackson, brass back is marked Spear & Jackson SJ no. 26, warranted Sheffield cast steel. Handles is fitted with to brass split nut buttons, has previous woodworkers name stamp. Either side of blade is marked with speckling of black staining and pitting.

Brass back dovetail saw with stained beech handle made by Tyzack. Blade reads: 'Silver steel tested for hardness Non Pareil'. Brass back reads: 'W. Tyzack. Sons & Turner Ltd' Sheffield England no. 120. Blade has some minor speckles of black staining.

An unused E.T. Roberts & Lee Dorchester dovetail saw from Thomas Flinn. A quality walnut handled dovetail saw, this handsome saw has a heavy brass-backed, a polished alloy steel blade, complete with a closed walnut handle that is attractively finished with brass fixtures. This saw is new and unused, the brass back is marked with some slight staining (see photo).

Handle is fitted with 2 brass buttons, the medallion is marked H.Disston & Sons Philada. Handle is marked with some scratching, dents and the bottom spur has been chipped and rounded. Blade is marked with some light pitting marks and black staining. Requires sharpening. We believe this saw dates from around 1890's to 1920's.

Handle is marked with the previous woodworkers name stamp and a 10mm long crack near brass button. Blade reads 'S. Tyzack & Son Ltd, trade mark Zyto, Warranted Best Quality Silver steel, Old Street Shoreditch' Blade is marked with black staining. Requires a little sharpening.

An early antique dovetail saw made by Joseph Howel we believe this old saw dates from around the late 1700 hundreds to early 1800's. This old saw has a brass back marked Howel. Beech handle has a chip to underside and is marked with some staining and denting. Blade is marked with some minor speckles of pitting and black staining. This old, antique and collectable saw has a nice feel.
