Body maintains an estimated 95% of its japanning and faint original machine marks. Rear handle has been replaced by the previous woodworker. | Rosewood handled jointer plane no. 07 made by Record. Retains a near full length Record cutter that is marked Best crucible cast, tungsten steel. The original machine marks are faintly visible to the sides and sole of the plane. Inner body maintains an estimated 80 - 85% of its japanning. Sole is marked with speckling of black staining and light pitting across the sole (see photo). Rear handle retains the original Record trade label. |
| A fine little used jointer plane no. 7 made in England by Stanley with rosewood handles. Retains a near full length Stanley cutting iron. Body maintains an estimated 99% of its japanning intact. This lovely old woodworking plane retains the original machine marks to sides and sole, has some minor speckles of black staining to sole. This plane has a thick body and comes complete with original Stanley box and wax paper, box is worn with tears to ends. A well built plane that in our opinion was built to much higher standards than today's version. |

Retains a good length Union plane iron, top of iron and front of cap iron are marked with heavy pitting, the cutting area of the blade to the slot is clean and free of pitting. Rear handle has had a previous repair from a crack through the spur of the handle (see photo). Body has been re-sprayed by previous woodworker. Outer body is marked with speckling of pitting down either side of plane, sole has some minor speckles of pitting. Price: £120.00 |

Cast is marked Bailey no.7 PAT'D MAR-25-02, AUG-19-02, APR-19-10. Body maintains an estimated 92-95% of its japanning. Sides of plane are marked with a number of dents mainly to one side, sole has some light scratching plus 5 deeper scratches that are clearly visible. This old try / jointer plane retains the original machine marks to sole and sides of plane. |
