Body maintains an estimated 95% of its japanning and faint original machine marks. Rear handle has been replaced by the previous woodworker. Outer body is marked with some minor staining, mouth of plane has a very minor chip.

Rosewood handled jointer plane no. 07 made by Record. Retains a near full length Record cutter that is marked Best crucible cast, tungsten steel. The original machine marks are faintly visible to the sides and sole of the plane. Inner body maintains an estimated 80 - 85% of its japanning. Sole is marked with speckling of black staining and light pitting across the sole (see photo). Rear handle retains the original Record trade label.

A fine little used jointer plane no. 7 made in England by Stanley with rosewood handles. Retains a near full length Stanley cutting iron. Body maintains an estimated 99% of its japanning intact. This lovely old woodworking plane retains the original machine marks to sides and sole, has some minor speckles of black staining to sole. This plane has a thick body and comes complete with original Stanley box and wax paper, box is worn with tears to ends. A well built plane that in our opinion was built to much higher standards than today's version.

Beech handled fore plane no. 06 made by Record. Retains a good length cutter marked Record Tungsten steel best crucible cast. Handles have some loss of lacquer mainly to front knob. Sides of plane are marked with the original machine marks. Sole is marked with speckling of light pitting.. Inner body maintains an estimated 90% of its japanning.

Rosewood handled jointer plane no. 8C made by Union with corrugated sole. Retains a good length Union plane iron, top of iron and front of cap iron are marked with heavy pitting, the cutting area of the blade to the slot is clean and free of pitting. Rear handle has had a previous repair from a crack through the spur of the handle (see photo). Body has been re-sprayed by previous woodworker. Outer body is marked with speckling of pitting down either side of plane, sole has some minor speckles of pitting.

Rosewood handled fore plane, no 6 made in England by Stanley. Retains its Stanley plane iron that has 13mm of blade left to slot. Plane maintains an estimated 90% of its japanning, sides and sole of body retain the original machine marks. Front knob has a small 3mm by 6mm chip. Length of sole is marked with black staining and some light pitting.

Body maintains an estimated 98% of its japanning intact, sides and sole retain the original machine marks. A good useable woodworking plane that has seen only light use with a clean smooth sole.

Body maintains an estimated 85-90% of its japanning and the original machine marks are still visible to outer body. Outer body is marked with speckling of pitting mainly to one side.

Plane maintains an estimated 70% of its finish, has some speckles of paint to body. Sides and sole of body are marked with a number of small dents, scratches and minor speckles of pitting.

Handles have very little lacquer remaining, spur of rear handle has been rounded slightly. Face plate has a small chip. Sides and sole are marked with a number of light dents and scratches. Inner body maintains an estimated 90% of its japanning, has some paint marks.

Beech handled jointer plane no. 08 made by Record. Fitted with a good length replacement Stanley plane iron. Handle has been fitted with 2 washers to bottom screw. Body maintains an estimated 90% of its japanning. Has a flat faced frog. Sole has a few visible scratches (if you were to run your hand over the sole you cannot feel the scratches).

Rosewood handled jointer plane no 7 with low front knob made in USA by Stanley. Retains a good length plane iron that reads Stanley New Britain Conn USA. Cast is marked Bailey no.7 PAT'D MAR-25-02, AUG-19-02, APR-19-10. Body maintains an estimated 92-95% of its japanning. Sides of plane are marked with a number of dents mainly to one side, sole has some light scratching plus 5 deeper scratches that are clearly visible. This old try / jointer plane retains the original machine marks to sole and sides of plane.

Rosewood handled jack plane no. 05 1/2 SS by Record. Retains a good length plane iron that reads 'Record made in England best crucible cast tungsten steel. Body of plane maintains an estimated 85-90% of its japanning. Sides and sole of this Stay-Set jack plane retain original machine marks (faint). Sides and sole are also marked with some speckling of black staining and light scratching through use. Rear handle is marked twice with the previous woodworkers name stamp.

A later no. 5 1/4 jack plane made in USA by Stanley fitted with stained beech handles. Blade is marked Stanley 5 1/4 P(12-025) USA. Body retains an estimated 95% of its finish. The sole is marked with machine marks that appear like dimples down the length of the plane, side of plane is marked with the previous woodworkers name stamp.

Stained beech handled jack plane no. W5 made by Woden. Retains a good length Woden plane iron. Body retains an estimated 965 of its japanning. Side of body has a dent 4mm long, sole is marked with some light scratching.

An earlier Record no. 07 jointer / try plane. Retains a near full length Record made in England Cutter, best crucible cast, tungsten steel. Handles retain much of the original finish plus rear handle retains the Record trade label. Inner body maintains an estimate 98% of its japanning. Sides and sole are marked with minor speckles of black staining and some very minor speckles of light pitting to sole.

A fine beech handled fore plane, no 6 made in England by Stanley with bakelite rear adjuster wheel. Retains a good length Stanley plane iron. This old woodworking plane still maintains an estimated 98% of its japanning, sides and sole are marked with some very minor speckles of pitting and light scratches also marked with a very faint user name to side of body, retains original faint machine marks.

Beech handled T5 jack plane, lacks side handle. This woodworking plane retains a good length Record best crucible cast tungsten steel cutter. Has a replacement screw on the rear handle (the smaller of the two screws). Outer body of this T5 woodworking planes has some denting and a couple of small scratches. Inner body maintains an estimated 90-95% of its japanning.
