An early leather punch made from gunmetal. Fitted with 3 different sized punches, unfortunately 2 of the screws that adjust 2 of the different size punches have been previously broken off and so cannot be adjusted.

Very small punches measure around 2mm by 2.5mm marked to ends: 56, 57, 59, 59 and 60.
Slightly larger punches measure around 5mm by 4mm marked to ends 56, 56, 57, 59, 60, 61.
This collection of number punches measure on average 86mm long.

SOLD - Two Shaped Leather Punches

Two large shaped leather punches, the smaller leather punch is marked Carlton Press Knives Ltd, blade measures 72mm wide by 4mm up to 12mm depth.
The second leather punch is marked ‘3088’, blade is shaped like a ‘u’ (see photo) blade measures approx 76mm wide.

Collection of 5 crew punches, 2 of the larger crew punches are made by Joseph Dixon. Punches are marked '33', '36', '36', '1' and the largest punch is marled 'Joseph Dixon 39'.

2 pricking irons by Dixon, includes:
1 x 40mm wide iron marked 'Joseph Dixon 8', has 9tpi,
1 x 39mm wide iron marked T & J Dixon, 14', has 15 tpi, one tooth is slightly shorter than the rest.

1 x 55mm (2 1/8”) pricking iron by Joseph Dixon
1 x 40mm iron by Dixon & Sons 16 has some pitting mainly to handle,
1 x 22mm iron marked ‘10’,
1 x 12mm iron marked ‘9’, has one of it’s outer teeth missing (see photo).

SOLD - 3 Awls

3 awls, includes 2 beech handled awls with brass ferules one of which is made by Clay, Sheffield England. The third awl has a boxwood handle that has a 40mm long shrinkage crack and some denting. These tools measure from 130mm up to 150mm long overall.

SOLD - George Barnsley Pricking Irons

Two pricking irons both made by George Barnsley. Includes:

1 x 28mm wide pricking iron marked '5', has 6 points, one point is slightly shorter than the others.
1 x 26mm wide pricking iron marked '7', has 8 points.

Both irons are marked with the ministry arrow and some speckling of black staining.

Two Leather Workers Marking Wheels includes:
1 x cutting wheel with ash handle and a nicely turned shaft,
1 x pricking wheel, 11 points per inch, brass section is marked 'made in England',

SOLD - 4 Sail Makers Awls

Collection of 4 sail makers awls. The longer awl has some pitting marks to blade, handles have some marks and dents through use. These tools measure from 170mm up to 213mm.

SOLD - 26 Leather Workers tools

Collection of 26 leather workers tools made by various makers that includes 13 tools made by Verri London, all marked with different numbers and include no:2, 5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8, 8, 9, 10, 10. A number of the tools made by Verri can be soon grouped together in the extra photograph at the bottom. Other makers include, Eggenschviler Paris, 3 tools by Goodwin Eng, Garrard London W, Verane, A. Dupuy 13 Rue Sisauveur Paris, leather pulling tool is marked with a lion and the numbers '135', '135', another tools appears to be marked Righter & Son.

These old leather workers tools have marks and dents. The tools by Verri are in good condition for age, these tools have some staining to blades and handles, the Verri tool handles are mainly free of dents.
