A 38mm (1 1/2") bevel edge chisel with ash handle made by Wm Marple. Blade is marked with a patch of minor pitting / black staining and previous woodworkers name stamp.

Open beech handled dovetail saw with steel back made by Wm Marples. Handle is fitted with 2 steel buttons. Steel back is marked Wm Marples & Sons Ltd, Special - Sheffield. Eng - Quality. Requires sharpening.

A fine dowelling jig no. M148 made by Marples, complete with jig cramp, 16 drill bushes, standard arms and long arms, Record operating instructions booklet and the original Record box (box is misshapen and showing signs of wear).

An old beech skew mouth fore plane with side handle marked to front end Hibernia Wm Marples & Sons Sheffield, rear is marked 2 1/4". Retains a good length Marples Hibernia cutter. has a number of dents to the ends and top of the plane, has a 20mm crack through the section on the body of the plane that holds the wedge in place. Retains part of the original Marples clover leaf trade labels.

A large 18 inch beech level with brass top and feet made by W.Marples & Sons Sheffield Eng, Warranted Correct. This old level is marked with the previous users name stamps on wooden body, has some small dents, holes (possibly old worm holes).

A mortice and marking gauge made by Marples, includes:
1 x rosewood mortice gauge with brass adjuster and fittings, marked Marples made in England.
1 x beech marking gauge with boxwood thumb screw made by Marples. Also marked with the ministry arrow and date of 1941. The pin has been replace to the opposite end of the beech rod.

Fore plane made by Marples. Retains a good length plane iron marked WmMarples& Sons Hibernia, warranted cast steel Sheffield England. A good clean plane that retains the original Marples trade labels to side of plane and wedge, logos read: "WmMarples And Sons Shamrock Brand, Sheffield England. Rear of plane is marked 2 1/4". Good clean sole.

Ash handled bevel edge paring chisel made by Wm Marples. Blade is marked with 5 dents to long edge of blade, some minor speckling of pitting mainly to bevel edge side and black staining.

A 7/8" beech screwbox and tap made by W.Marples & Sons, Hibernia, Sheffield. The tap has a very slight, reflected in the price.

An old wooden plough plane made by Marples. End of plane is marked 'Hibernia, Wm Marples & Sons, Sheffield, 1939, also marked with the ministry arrow. Skate is marked with some minor speckling of staining/ very light pitting. Plane is in very good condition with it's depth adjuster working smoothly. Includes 5 Marples irons numbers 1, 2, 5, 6 and 8. Iron 5 has a small patch of pitting, iron 2 is marked with a large patch of pitting halfway down either side of the blade. We have added a no. 4 plough iron that was made by Seedland Bros, Sheffield.

Honing guide made by W. Marples Sheffield England also marked with the clover leaf logo. This Marples tool retains an estimated 90% of its finish.

Beech handled drawknife with brass ferules made by W. Marples. Reverse of blade has a patch of pitting on 1/3rd of the blade.

A fine beech wood adjustable smoothing plane made by Marples. Has a good length unnamed cutter. Has some light pitting to cutter and cap iron. Side of body is marked with part of the original trade label Wm Marples and Sons Shamrock brand Sheffield England along with the clover leaf logo. This woodworking planes has seen only light use with a good clean sole.

Boxwood handled sash chisel made by W. Marples & Sons. Handle has to long cracks 90mm long and 55mm long, that have been filled by previous woodworker. Blade measures 50mm wide and is marked with a large patch of pitting to one side of blade. Sold as a collectable item.
