This Record multi plane no 405 is a war finish model made without the use of nickel plating, the finish on the plane has faded and is lacking some finish of the skate. All parts work smoothly.

Cutters are marked with patches of pitting half way down each blade (would not effect use) pitting is heavy on a few of the cutters.

This is a rare early Stanley plough plane which is designed with a decorative pattern and Rosewood handle. The plane has one cutter and has a replacement depth stop. A nice collectable old plane.
