A fine rosewood handled combination plane no. 50 made by Stanley. Includes 17 cutters, shaving deflector, 2 spurs, depth gauge, beading gauge, instructions leaflet, trade label and Stanley box. This Stanley combination plane still retains an estimated 98% of its nickel plating. 2 of 3 cutters are marked with light pitting halfway down the blade, useable part of blade is free of pitting, won't effect use.

Includes all cutters that are in very good condition, main section, sliding section, auxiliary centre bottom, cam rest, long and short arms, 2 gauges, 2 spurs, lacks how to us booklet. Comes with the original Stanley box (bottom edges of box have been strengthened with tape, lid of box has split out to bottom of edges and has a number of marks/ staining). The plane body itself is marked Stanley SW (sweetheart logo) made in USA no. 55.Side fence is marked trade mark 55, the depth gauge is marked US. PAT 4-11-22. This old Stanley no. 55 plane maintains an estimated 85-90% of its nickel plating, long and short arms lack any nickel plating. A lovely old plane which retains a good clean set of cutters with only minor speckles of black staining. Cutter numbers 45 and 102 have had the profile changed.

This is a rare early Stanley plough plane which is designed with a decorative pattern and Rosewood handle. The plane has one cutter and has a replacement depth stop. A nice collectable old plane.

This Record multi plane we believe to be a war model made without the use of nickel plating, previous woodworker has sprayed the plane silver which has been well done and will help to protect the plane. Plane is in good condition with all parts working smoothly, cutters have some small patches of minor pitting/ staining.

Cutters are marked with patches of pitting half way down each blade (would not effect use) pitting is heavy on a few of the cutters.

A British made Lewin universal plane with die-cast aluminium handles. This old woodworking planes comes complete with 18 good clean cutters instructions and the original Lewin wooden box.

Combination plane no. 045c made by Record. This plane includes 13 clean cutters, spur, depth gauge, long arms and a conversion kit to a 050C that includes beading gauge. A fine plane that has seen little use, still maintains an estimated 99% of its nickel plating.

Comes complete with all three Record tungsten steel cutter (1/4", 3/16", 1/8"), depth stop and Record box (worn box with a tear to one corner and white paint on label). A nice little Record 043 plough plane that maintains an estimated 98% of nickel plating. Designed for grooving plywood panels etc..

A scarce no. 040 plough plane made by Record. Comes complete with 3 tungsten steel cutters, side fence, depth gauge and the original Record box. The finish of this old plough plane has been touched up in places, you have to look hard to notice, carried out by the previous woodworker.

An early combination plane no. 50 made by Stanley. Body is marked ‘S’ plus the previous users name stamp, side fence is marked PAT Sept 1183??? And has been fitted with a boxwood moulded fence. Maintains an estimated 75-80% of nickel plating, arms lack plating. Includes depth stop lacks cutters.

A fine beech handled fibreboard plane No. 735 by Record. Includes 6 soft board cutters and 1 hardboard cutter. The beech handles has some cracking of lacquer. This woodworking plane has seen little use still maintaining an estimated 98% of its japanning, retains the original trade stickers and comes complete with the original Record box.
