An old paring chisel marked 'Wingfield Robot....' (Rowbotham). Either side of blade is marked with a number of patches of pitting. Brass ferule has 2 drill holes

A long boxwood handled paring chisel made by I. Sorby. Octagonal handle is marked with a number of marks and dents. Blade is marked with a patch of pitting (top side of blade, won't effect use, see photo) plus some minor speckling of black staining and light pitting.

2 cranked woodworking tools made by Marples. Includes:
1 x 6mm cranked bevel edge paring chisel (boxwood),
1 x 25mm cranked paring gouge, has a number of pitting marks down one side of blade.

These Marples woodworking tools measure from 335mm up to 400mm long overall.

Boxwood handled bevel edge paring chisel with brass ferule and long 205mm blade made by I. Sorby. Blade is marked with some very minor staining. Blade is marked with a small number of very minor pits and some speckles of black staining. Handle has a chip 15mm wide by 10mm to striking end, gouge half way down handle, previous woodworkers name stamp and is slightly split out on the striking end. .

Two old hexagonal handled chisels made by Thos Ibbotson & Co, with thick chunky blades. Handles are marked with the previous users name stamp. Includes a 27mm wide chisel and a 23mm wide chisel, the 27mm chisel has a chip to striking end of handle. These woodworking chisels measure from 411mm up to 417mm (16 1/2” approx) long overall.

Two woodworking tools made by Ward, includes:
1 x 32mm wide bevel edge woodworking chisel with beech handle, has some light speckling of pitting to blade and a chip to striking end of handle.
1 x 17mm wide very shallow paring gouge with shortened oak handle that has a square striking end.

Both Ward woodworking tools are marked with the previous user’s name stamp. These old tools measure 310mm long overall (chisel) and 339mm long overall (paring gouge).

Boxwood octagonal handled paring chisel made by T. Turton& Sons.

Ash handled bevel edge paring chisel made by Wm Marples. Blade is marked with 5 dents to long edge of blade, some minor speckling of pitting mainly to bevel edge side and black staining.

Boxwood handled chisel made by A. Mathieson & Son Glasgow with thick blade, marked with some black staining and a patch of very minor pitting.

A 1” chisel marked “C Nurse & Co, Invicta Works” Boxwood handle has a number of dents and is marked with the previous users name stamp. Blade also marked “John Bull” plus logo to rear of blade.

Boxwood handled bevel edge paring chisel made by W. Marples & Sons Sheffield. Blade has a couple of small patches of pitting and some speckling of black staining.
