A fine little used woodworking router plane no. 722 made by Record. Retains an estimated 99% of its japanning. A nice little router that has seen very little use if any still retaining a near full length cutter, Record trade label and the original Record box.

Rosewood handled jointer plane no. 07 made by Record. Retains a near full length Record Best crucible cast, tungsten steel cutter. Rear handle is marked with the previous woodworkers name stamp, top of handle retains the original Record trade label. Face plate has slight bubbling of nickel. Sides and sole of plane are marked with some speckling of black staining. Inner body maintains an estimated 95% of its japanning, good smooth sole.

Rosewood handled jack plane no. 05 1/2 made by Record. Retains a near full length plane iron that reads 'Record made in England best crucible cast tungsten steel'. Body of plane maintains an estimated 95% of its japanning. A nice old plane that retains the original Record trade label to rear handle, original machines marks to sides and sole, has some minor scratches to sole through use.

A fine plough plane no 043, made in England by Record. Comes complete with all three Record tungsten steel cutter (1/4", 3/16" and 1/8"), depth stop, Record box (flimsy box with a tear to corner of lid and box). A nice little plough plane with an estimated 99% of nickel plating intact.

Rosewood handled smoothing plane no. 03 made by Record. This Record woodworking plane still retains a near full length Record tungsten steel best crucible cast cutter. Body maintains an estimated 80% of its blue japanning. Rear handle retains part of the original Record trade label, has small chip to top of handle (8mm long by 6mm wide). Sides and sole retain the original machines marks. The sole is marked with a number of mainly light scratches.

Rosewood handled multi-plane no. 405 made by Record, complete with 22 tungsten steel cutters, long and short arms, replacement mini screwdriver, cam steady, beading stop, sliding section depth gauge, adjustable depth gauge, 2 spurs, Record how to use booklet (booklet is from another 405 plane) and the original wooden box. This Record multi plane no 405 is a war finish model made without the use of nickel plating, the finish on the plane has faded and is lacking some finish of the skate. All parts work smoothly.

Plane retains an estimated 90% of its original finish. Body is marked with a number of mainly light scratches and light speckling of minor pitting and black staining.

A fine beech handled fibreboard plane No. 735 by Record. Includes 6 soft board cutters and 1 hardboard cutter. The beech handles has some cracking of lacquer. This woodworking plane has seen little use still maintaining an estimated 98% of its japanning, retains the original trade stickers and comes complete with the original Record box.

A little woodworking router no. 722 made by Record. Retains an estimated 96% of its japanning and the original Record trade label. Has some minor staining to sole and cutter.

Beech handled carriage makers rebate plane no. 010, made by Record. Retains a good length Record tungsten steel cutter, best crucible cast. Body appears to have been re-sprayed in places by the previous woodworker. Outer body is marked with some minor black staining and some minor speckling of pitting mainly to sides of plane. This Record woodworking plane retains the original Record trade sticker to rear handle and has a good smooth sole.

A fine little used plough plane no. 044C made by Record. Comes complete with 10 good clean cutters, depth gauge, Record operating instructions and the original box (box is in a poor condition held together by tape). Handle retains the original Record sticker and the body maintains an estimated 99% of its plating.

Comes complete with all three little used cutters, depth gauge, side fence, and the original Record box (box has tear to lid). A fine woodworking router that has seen very little use if any, still maintaining an estimated 97% of its japanning, the original machine markings to the sole.

Block plane no. 09 1/2 with adjustable mouth made by Record. Retains a good length Record Best crucible cast tungsten steel cutter. Body maintains the original machine marks, has some minor black staining marks. Body retains an estimated 98% of japanning and comes with the original Record box (box is in a poor condition with large tears to lid).

Beech handled fore plane no. 06 made by Record. Cutter is marked Record Tungsten vanadium steel, has 24mm of blade left to slot. Handles have very little lacquer remaining, spur of rear handle has been rounded slightly. Face plate has a small chip. Sides and sole are marked with a number of light dents and scratches. Inner body maintains an estimated 90% of its japanning, has some paint marks.

Beech handled jointer plane no. 08 made by Record. Fitted with a good length replacement Stanley plane iron. Handle has been fitted with 2 washers to bottom screw. Body maintains an estimated 90% of its japanning. Has a flat faced frog. Sole has a few visible scratches (if you were to run your hand over the sole you cannot feel the scratches).

Combination plane no. 045c made by Record. This plane includes 13 clean cutters, spur, depth gauge, long arms and a conversion kit to a 050C that includes beading gauge. A fine plane that has seen little use, still maintains an estimated 99% of its nickel plating.

This Record multi plane we believe to be a war model made without the use of nickel plating, previous woodworker has sprayed the plane silver which has been well done and will help to protect the plane. Plane is in good condition with all parts working smoothly, cutters have some small patches of minor pitting/ staining.

This fine double ended black plane 0130 retains the original Record trade label and comes complete with its Record box (box has tears to 2 corners).

Rosewood handled jack plane no. 05 1/2 SS by Record. Retains a good length plane iron that reads 'Record made in England best crucible cast tungsten steel. Body of plane maintains an estimated 85-90% of its japanning. Sides and sole of this Stay-Set jack plane retain original machine marks (faint). Sides and sole are also marked with some speckling of black staining and light scratching through use. Rear handle is marked twice with the previous woodworkers name stamp.

A scarce no. 040 plough plane made by Record. Comes complete with 3 tungsten steel cutters, side fence, depth gauge and the original Record box. The finish of this old plough plane has been touched up in places, you have to look hard to notice, carried out by the previous woodworker.

Circular plane no 020 made in England by Record. Retains a good length Record tungsten vanadium steel cutter. Body maintains an estimated 95% of its japanning. Flexible steel sole is marked with speckling of shallow pitting down the length of the sole (see photo).

A fine side rabbet plane no.2506s made in England by Record. Retains two near full length Record tungsten steel cutters. Beech knob has some very slight loss and some cracking of the lacquer. This old woodworking plane has seen little use still maintaining 98% of its nickel plating, the original Record label and the original fence.

A fine Record Calvert Stevens bench plane CS88. This limited edition heavy duty plane has a gun metal lever cap combines with the stay-set cap iron. Plane iron has a hardened cutting edge to provide razor sharp accuracy lasting 8 times longer than conventional irons, this is mounted on a precision machined frog. The Norris type cutter adjustment allows micrometer sensitivity for depth of cut and easy alignment. The whole assembly is mounted on a body cast from fine grey iron.

For craftsman in wood it is fitting that total comfort and control are assured with matt finish rosewood knob and handle. This rare Calvert Stevens bench plane includes a hardened case with contoured felt lining, also includes a signed certification .

This plane seen very little use, has some very light scratches / minor black staining marks to body and cutter. Still maintains a near full length cutting iron.

A no. 311 shoulder and chisel plane made by Record. Retains a good length Record tungsten steel cutter. This 311 second hand woodworking plane is in excellent condition with much of the original machine marks and the Record trade label. Lacks the bullnose attachment.

Cabinet scraper no. 080 made by Record. Retains a good length Record scraper blade. This woodworking maintains an estimated 75% of its japanning and the Record trade label.

Compass Plane no 020 made in England by Record. Retains a good length Record tungsten steel cutter. Body maintains an estimated 90-95% of its japanning. Flexible steel sole is marked with two small patches of pitting.

Bullnose plane no. 077A made in England by Record. Retains a good length Record tungsten steel cutting iron. Has two very minor chips to either corner of the mouth. Body maintains an estimated 80-85% of its nickel plating. Comes complete with detachable nose piece and two shims.

Snap knuckle no. 018 block plane made by Record. Has a good length Record cutter. This scarce plane has a some mainly light dents and scratches to sides and sole of body, maintains an estimated 85-90% of its finish.

Beech handled T5 jack plane, lacks side handle. This woodworking plane retains a good length Record best crucible cast tungsten steel cutter. Has a replacement screw on the rear handle (the smaller of the two screws). Outer body of this T5 woodworking planes has some denting and a couple of small scratches. Inner body maintains an estimated 90-95% of its japanning.
