A scarce no. 95 edge trimming block plane with skew cutter made by Stanley. Cast of plane is marked made in Stanley no. 95. PAT.5.14.12. Retains a near full length cutting iron marked Stanley Rule & Level Co New Britain Conn USA. Body maintains an estimated 90-95% of its black japanning. A nice old and collectable Stanley woodworking plane.

An old cornering tool no. 29 made by Stanley, tool is marked StanleyRule & Level Co New Britain Conn USA no. 29. One end is marked 3/8" the other 1/4".

Nickel plated tongue and groove plane no. 48 with rosewood knob. Body maintains an estimated 80- 85% of nickel platting. Cast of plane is marked Stanley no. 48, B.

A little used type 1 floor plane no. 74 made by Stanley. Rear of plane cast is marked PAT. DEC.15-85, the lever cap screw is marked Stanley Rule & Level Co. Has a good length unnamed cutter. Sole is marked with a couple of very minor casting marks. This floor plane is in excellent condition retaining an estimated 96-98% of its original finish. This scarce floor plane no. 74 lacks its original wooden handle, though these planes are rarely found with the handle, would make a nice project (handle length would have been 45 inches long, probably made from beech though has also been found made from other hardwoods).

A brass violin makers plane with very slight radius sole and a good length cutter. sole measures 39mm long by 20mm wide. A nice little plane much like Preston made.

An early tongue and groove plane no. 48 made by Stanley. This old collectable plane has brass knurled adjuster screws and two replacement 8mm cutters. Body retains an estimated 50% of its japanning.

An early rosewood handled core box plane no. 57 made by Stanley. Marked to main body No. 57. PAT 3-10.96. Side extensions are marked Stanley, also marked with ‘B’. Retains the original cutter that reads Stanley Rule & Level Co. Body maintains an estimated 85%-90% of its nickel plating.

Scrub plane no. 40 made by Stanley that retains a good length Stanley SW made in USA plane blade with Sweet Heart logo. Has a rear beech handle and a replacement rosewood front knob. Body retains an estimated 50% of its finish, sole is marked with a number of visible scratches which is common with this type of woodworking plane.
