12 inch engineering square marked Moore & Wright Sheffield England Hardened no. 402. Stock is marked Creed & Co Ltd TN12380. Square is marked with speckling of black staining and a chip to tip of square (see photo).

Two try squares, includes:
1 x Disston try square marked out in inches up to 8" long, marked with speckling of light pitting / staining.
1 x Sandvik try and mitre square marked out in mille metres and inches up to 8 1/2 inch long.

Combination set made by Brown and Sharp. The square head has been replaced. This combination maintains an estimated 90% of its finish. Square head lacks marking pin. Rule is marked Brown &Sharp MFG Co Providence R.I USA, tempered no. 4, rule is marked either side in inches up to 12" long.

An old combination set made by Starrett. Rule is marked The L.S.S. Co Athol Mass USA, hardened no. 4. Protractor head is marked with letters for measurements 'M, P, H, O, W, R, W, O, H, P, M '. This old combination set is marked with some speckling of black staining and minor pitting mainly to rule.

Combination set made by Lufkin. The rule is marked The Lufkin Rule Co Saginaw Mich made in USA. No. 4 Grad Tempered and is clearly marked out in inches to both sides of rule, up to 12" long overall. The 3 attachments include: a protractor head with working bubble, centre head and a square head that retains both the marking pin and bubble. A nice clean combination square, that has seen only light use and still retains an estimated 95% + of its finish.

Black roofing square with white numbering marked Made in the USA for Rabone 1950. Measurements are marked out to both sides in inches up to 24" long overall. This roofing square has seen little use and is in excellent condition.

An old doubled ended rosewood bevel with brass ends and two brass blades. Brass ends are marked with a number of dents. The longer of the two brass blades has a slight bend.

An attractive multi angle square with brass blades and rosewood stock from Crown Tools exclusive range.

Eureka T-Flush Sliding Bevel No. 18 marked to body No. 18 Stanley 8IN Made in USA. Has some loss of nickel mainly to blade with some staining to blade.

Combination Set made by Mitutoyo, the rule has been replaced with a good thick Rabone Chesterman rule which is marked out in millimetres and inches up to 12” long overall. The square, centre head and protractor head are marked with some black staining and minor pitting, has a good clean rule. The square retains both its bubble and marking pin, the protractor head retains its bubble though lacks one of the two screws that hold it in place.

A fine combination set made by Moore & Wright no. 990. The square, centre head and protractor head are all marked Moore & Wright Sheffield England. This combination set has seen little use still maintaining 96%+ of its original finish, has some minor speckles of black staining. Retains marking pin and the original box.

Two try squares made by Rabone with cast iron stocks. Includes:
1 x 12" try square marked J. Rabone & Sons, Birmingham England, no. 1905, either side of rule is marked out in inches up to 12 inch,

1 x 6" try square marked Rabone made in England.

Both rules retain an estimated 90-95% if japanning.

Adjustable combination square marked 'Brown & Sharp MFG Co, Providence R.I. USA, Tempered no. 4'. Rule's marked out in inches either side of rule up to 6" long. Retains working bubble and marking pin. Rule is marked with black staining and 2 patches of pitting.

A large ebony try square with inlay brass trefoil, brass face is fitted with a brass stock rest. Ebony stock has a hanging hole through the base. Blade is marked with some small patches of pitting / staining mainly to one side of the try square. A lovely old and collectable square.

An old ebony mitre square with decorative brass fittings. This old second hand tool has some speckling of black staining and some very minor pitting marks. Has a 3mm thick brass face. This old mitre square has some dents through use and the previous woodworker's name stamp.

24 inch engineering square made by Moore and Wright, has some minor staining and pitting marks. Stock of square is marked 'Workshop'. This Moore and Wright engineer's tool comes with the original wooden case, has some loss of finish to the case.

Combination square made by Rabone Chesterman. Rule is marked Rabone Chesterman made in England no. 1902 and is marked out in inches to both sides of the rule up to 12” long overall. The steel rule has a very light gradual curve and is marked with some minor staining. The square head retains 90 - 95% of its finish, marking pin and its original bubble.

A little combination set made by Starrett, steel rule is marked The L.S.S Co Athol Mass USA, hardened no. 4, rule is marked out in inches up to 6” long overall. Attachments include a centre head and a square head that retains its marking pin and bubble.

Nickel plated angle divider no. 30 made by Stanley, marked to body PAT’D OCT-27-1903. This old tool has some slight loss of nickel plating and is marked with black staining. Comes with the original Stanley box (box is in a poor condition, badly torn).
