Sole is marked with a couple of very minor casting marks. This floor plane is in excellent condition retaining an estimated 96-98% of its original finish. This scarce floor plane no. 74 lacks its original wooden handle, though these planes are rarely found with the handle, would make a nice project (handle length would have been 45 inches long, probably made from beech though has also been found made from other hardwoods).
