Brass back tenon saw made by Disston. Brass back reads 'Henry Disston & Sons Philad'a USA Cast steel warranted. Handle has a good old repair (previously cracked through handle see photo), has previous woodworkers name stamps and some black staining to handle. Handle has 3 brass buttons the medallion is marked Disston Phila.

A brass backed tenon saw made by Collier, Brixton. Handle is fitted with 3 split nut screws, has chip to underside of top spur on the handle plus a number of wear marks / dents / scratches. Either side of blade is marked with black staining. Requires sharpening

Handle is fitted with 3 split nut screws, has large chip to underside of top spur on the handle. Brass medallion is marked Trade mark Nonpareil. Blade is marked with black staining and speckling of mainly light pitting. Nice collectable saw, requires sharpening.

An old brass back tenon saw marked Straw London Spring. Decorative handle has two brass buttons/ split nut screws, top spur has been damaged and has a large piece missing. Rear of blade has a large patch of medium to heavy pitting close to the brass back, blade is also marked with speckling of black staining and some more minor speckles of pitting.

Decorative beech handled tenon saw marked to brass back A. Mathieson & Son Glasgow, cast steel warranted. Either side of blade is marked with black staining and speckling of pitting. Brass back is marked with some denting and a deep scratch 22mm long. Handle has a single old treated worm hole, large chip to top spur of handle, previous woodworkers name stamp and denting to brass split nut screws.

Handle is fitted with 3 brass split nut screws, handles has 1 old treated work hole. Blade is marked with black staining and speckling of pitting, has patches of heavier pitting to reverse side of blade. Requires sharpening.

Steel back tenon saw made by Spear and Jackson, Leap-Frog Warranted, Sheffield cast steel. Handle is fitted with 3 brass buttons, handle has been sanded clean by previous user, has a small shrinkage crack. Fairly sharp blade.

Blade is marked with speckling of black staining.

Brass back tenon saw made by Drabble & Sanderson. Beech handle is fitted with three brass split nut screws. Handle has a number of light marks and dents. Brass back reads ' Drabble & Sanderson, Sheffield, warranted cast steel, R.Routledge Birmingham. Blade is marked with black staining, speckling of pitting to either side of blade. This saw dates around the 1800's

Brass backed open handled dovetail saw made by Britain brass back is marked F.Brittain, Sheffield, Neplusultra, cast steel (also marked with a swan stamp and the crown mark). Handle is fitted with 2 brass split nut buttons. Handle is marked with a couple of old treated worm holes, has chip down side of top spur 20mm long and chip to bottom spur. Blade has a number of pitting and black staining marks. We believe this saw dates from around the late 1800's to very early 1900's.

An old brass back tenon saw made by George Ryan. Brass back is marked G. Ryan 312 Euston Road. Handle has two brass split nut buttons. Top and bottom spurs of handle have two small chips, also has some marks and dents to handle through use. Either side of blade is marked with black staining and some small patches of mainly light pitting. We believe this saw dates to around the 1890's.
