Handle is fitted with 3 split nut screws, has large chip to underside of top spur on the handle. Brass medallion is marked Trade mark Nonpareil. Blade is marked with black staining and speckling of mainly light pitting. Nice collectable saw, requires sharpening. |

| Brass backed open handled dovetail saw made by Britain brass back is marked F.Brittain, Sheffield, Neplusultra, cast steel (also marked with a swan stamp and the crown mark). Handle is fitted with 2 brass split nut buttons. Handle is marked with a couple of old treated worm holes, has chip down side of top spur 20mm long and chip to bottom spur. Blade has a number of pitting and black staining marks. We believe this saw dates from around the late 1800's to very early 1900's. Price: £30.00 |

Top and bottom spurs of handle have two small chips, also has some marks and dents to handle through use.
