Plane iron has a hardened cutting edge to provide razor sharp accuracy lasting 8 times longer than conventional irons, this is mounted on a precision machined frog. The Norris type cutter adjustment allows micrometer sensitivity for depth of cut and easy alignment. The whole assembly is mounted on a body cast from fine grey iron. |
