Beech handled smoothing plane made from brass by GTL. Retains a good length cutter. Blade can be finely adjusted with its Norris style adjuster which adjust the depth of cut only, cannot be adjusted laterally. Brass body has some denting / scratching and the blade and face plate are marked with speckling of minor staining.

Snap knuckle no. 018 block plane made by Record. Has a good length Record cutter. This scarce plane has a some mainly light dents and scratches to sides and sole of body, maintains an estimated 85-90% of its finish.

A Stanley no. 110 block plane made in USA. Retains a good length Stanley USA plane iron. Body retains an estimated 90% of it japanning. Has some minor black staining to body

Block plane no. 220 made in England by Stanley. Retains a good length Stanley cutting iron. Body maintains an estimated 85% of japanning. Speckling of minor staining and a small patch of very minor pitting.

A snap knuckle joint block plane with an adjustable mouth no. 18 made in USA by Stanley. Has very little cutter remaining if any (slot needs extending). Cutter is marked Stanley made in USA SW with the sweet heart logo. Snap knuckle is also marked with Stanley SW and the sweet heart logo. Body retains an estimated 80% of its finish. One side of plane has a couple of small pitting marks.

A probably unused stained beech handled smoothing plane no 04 1/2 by Record. Retains a full length Record tungsten vanadium steel cutter. This woodworking plane has been re-sprayed in places by the previous user. A fine plane that retains the original machines marks to sides and sole, handle retains the original Record trade label. Complete with Record box.

Block plane no. 9 1/2 with adjustable mouth made by Stanley. Cutter has had the slot extended to get more use from the blade and is marked Stanley made in USA. Body maintains the original machine marks, marked with some black staining. Body retains an estimated 90% of japanning.

Block plane no. 09 1/2 with adjustable mouth made by Record. Retains a good length Record Best crucible cast tungsten steel cutter. Body maintains the original machine marks, has some minor black staining marks. Body retains an estimated 98% of japanning and comes with the original Record box (box is in a poor condition with large tears to lid).

Block plane with adjustable mouth, no. 17 made by Millers Falls. Retains a good length cutter marked Millers Falls Co, Greenfield Mass made in USA. Body retains an estimated 95% if its finish comes complete with the original Millers Falls box (box is very fragile, base is held together with tape).

A fine stained beech handled smoothing plane no 03 made by Record. This Record woodworking plane has seen very little use and still retains a near full length Record tungsten steel best crucible cast cutter. Body maintains an estimated 98-99% of its blue japanning, appears to have a very small touch up of paint in places. Rear handle retains the original Record trade label. Sides and sole retain the original machines marks along with much of the original protective coating to the sides. The plane is marked with some minor speckles of black staining. A fine no. 03 smoothing plane that comes with the Record box.

Beech handled smoothing plane no. 3 made in England by Stanley. Retains a near full length Stanley plane iron. Handles have some loss and cracking of lacquer, front knob has little lacquer remaining. Body retains the original but faint machine marks to outer body, inner body maintains an estimated 96-98% of its japanning. Sides and sole are marked with some very minor speckles of black staining.

A scarce no. 0130 double ended block plane made by Record. Retains a good length Record tungsten steel best crucible cast cutter. Sides and sole retain the original machine marks. Sides marked with some minor speckles of black staining. This fine double ended black plane 0130 retains the original Record trade label and comes complete with its Record box (box has tears to 2 corners).

A block plane made by Millers Falls with adjustable mouth piece. Retains a good length cutter marked Millers Falls Tools, Greenfield Mass, made in USA. Body retains an estimated 90% of japanning. Sides and sole of plane are marked with some minor speckles of pitting and some scratching. This version of the Millers Falls block plane is similar to the Stanley 9 1/2 version of the plane.

A fine knuckle joint block plane the no. 9 1/2 made in USA by Stanley. Retains a good length cutter marked Stanley SW USA (sweet heart logo), knuckle joint lever cap is also marked with Stanley and the Sweet heart logo. This woodworking plane retains an estimated 98% of its original finish. Sole has a number of light scratches.

Double ended block plane no. 130 made in England by Stanley, fitted with a stained beech knob. Retains a good length Stanley cutter. Body is marked with some very minor speckles of staining. A nice plane that maintains an estimated 98% of japanning, the original machine marks to body, Stanley trade sticker and the original Stanley box.

Double ended block plane no. 130 made in England by Stanley, fitted with a stained beech knob. Has a small crack to front nib of cast (see photo) reflected in price. Retains a good length Stanley cutter. Body is marked with some minor patches of pitting / staining. Body maintains an estimated 90%+ of japanning and comes with the original Stanley box..

An old Union block plane with adjustable mouth. Retains a good length cutter marked Union MFG CO New Britain CT USA. This old woodworking plane has a repair / weld to the snap knuckle, solid repair. Body retains an estimated 90% of its finish.
Sole and sides of plane are marked with some light scratching and light speckling of pitting.

A no. 65 low angled block plane with adjustable mouth made by Stanley. Blade is marked Stanley Made in USA. Sole is marked with a number of clearly visible scratches and a very small chip to mouth. Outer body is also marked with speckling of very minor pitting. Inner body retains an estimated 60% of its japanning.

An unused smoothing plane no 4 1/2 made by Stanley with beech handles. This woodworking plane is unused and still retains the original protective coating to body of plane, Stanley trade label, wax paper, leaflet and the original box.

A rosewood handled smoothing plane no. 03 made by Record. This bench plane has been fitted with a good length replacement Stanley cutting iron. The plane has seen a lot of hard use, with a number of dents to handles, 2 chips to mouth, some speckling of pitting/ black staining and dents to body of plane. The inner body maintains an estimate 50-60% of its japanning.

A fine Record Calvert Stevens bench plane CS88. This limited edition heavy duty plane has a gun metal lever cap combines with the stay-set cap iron. Plane iron has a hardened cutting edge to provide razor sharp accuracy lasting 8 times longer than conventional irons, this is mounted on a precision machined frog. The Norris type cutter adjustment allows micrometer sensitivity for depth of cut and easy alignment. The whole assembly is mounted on a body cast from fine grey iron.

For craftsman in wood it is fitting that total comfort and control are assured with matt finish rosewood knob and handle. This rare Calvert Stevens bench plane includes a hardened case with contoured felt lining, also includes a signed certification .

This plane seen very little use, has some very light scratches / minor black staining marks to body and cutter. Still maintains a near full length cutting iron.

A fine little block plane no. 102 made in England by Stanley. This woodworking plane has seen very little use if any still maintaining a near full length Stanley cutter, 99% of its japanning, wax paper and the Stanley box.
