SOLD The Modern Practical Plumber (Volumes 1-3)
A set of 3 books titled The Modern Practical Plumber includes volumes 1, 2 and 3. First published in January 1929, third edition July 1949 by A.C Martin and published by Caxton of London. Chapters include: Lead work, the workshop and equipment, lead and other pipes, lead burning and chemical plumbing, joint wiping, pipe bending, general roof work, waste pipes and soil pipes, drainage, heating, ventilation, sinks and lavatory basins, baths plus many other chapters. Volume 1 includes 331 pages, volume 2 has 298 pages and volume 3 has 409 pages. Many of the pages include photographs, diagrams and charts. This old set of plumbing books have some wear mainly to there covers, bindings coming away slightly, volumes 1 and 2 have speckles of paint on them.
