The rear of the plane body is marked with the Edward Preston and Sons trademark. Blade is marked Preston EP Trade Mark. The blade has been extended where a previous user has professionally added/welded a section of blade (see photo).Infills and wedge are marked with the previous woodworkers name stamps. Sides and sole of plane are marked with scratches, marks and dents (as expected with a plane of this age).
