Two boxwood handled chisels, the largest a swan necked mortice chisel’s made by Sorby and fitted with a leather washer and brass ferule. This woodworking chisel measures:

The smaller chisel is also fitted with a leather washer and brass ferule and comes with a leather sheaf, measures:

The largest woodworking mortice chisel measures 9mm (3/8" ) wide, blade to washer measures 178mm and overall the tool measures 345mm long, handle has a 16m hairline crack. The smaller mortice chisel measures 6mm (2/8" ) wide, blade to washer measures 170mm and overall the tool measures 325mm, both woodworking chisels are marked W. Marples & Sons Sheffield England.

Two old mortice chisels the largest appears to be marked Sorby and measures 12mm (1/2" ) wide by 307mm (12 3/16" ) long overall, the second mortice chisels marked I&H Sorby and measures 9mm (3/8" ) by 294mm (11 5/8" ) long overall.

Four old mortice chisels includes:
1 x 12mm (15/32" ) wide, handle has previous users name stamp and a 45mm long crack ,
1 x 5mm (3/16" ) (some pitting/ staining to blade),
1 x 7mm (1/4" ) wide appears to be marked Warpane, (blade has some light staining).
1 x 5mm (3/16" ) wide made by I.Marsden. This collection of old mortice chisels measure from 10 1/2" to 13 3/8" long overall.

Two boxwood handled mortice chisels fitted with brass ferules made by Marples. The largest woodworking chisel measures 3/8" (10mm) wide by 13" (330mm) long overall, blade to ferule measures 6 5/8" (167mm) long (this woodworking tool has crack to the ferule). The smaller Marples mortice chisel measures 1/4" (6mm) wide by 12 5/8" (320mm) long overall, blade to ferule measures 6 7/8" (176mm) long. These two mortice chisels have some minor staining to there blades.
