Old Ward, Isaac Greaves and Hale Bros Woodworking Chisels
Three antique mortice woodworking chisels, one old chisels marked Hale Bros Sheffield 1944 and has the military arrow, measures 6mm wide appears to have a beech handle. Another chisel is marked Ward, measures 5mm wide and the handle appears to be made of oak. The last woodworking chisel has a beech handle, blades marked Isaac Greaves Parkwork, this woodworking chisel has a rubber washer in between the handle and the blade, blade measures 6mm wide. This tool has slight chip/ splitting to striking end.

Sorby Mortice Chisels
Two mortices chisels, includes a mortice chisel with a London
Pattern handle made of boxwood, it's long blade's marked I.Sorby
Sheffield. The second chisel is a socketed mortice chisel with a
beech handle and brass ferule to the striking end of the handle,
blade's marked I & H Sorby.

Buck and Hildick Mortice Chisels Two beech handled
mortice chisels, the largest is marked Buck Edgware Rd, solid steel.
This large woodworking chisel measures 13mm wide by 365mm long overall,
blade to handle measures 209mm. The other mortice chisel is marked
A.Hildick Sheffield 1917, also marked "A" along with the
military arrow. This old mortice chisel measures 9mm wide by 330mm
long overall. The handle has had a large split that's been repaired.

Three Old Mortice Chisels
Three old mortice chisels the largest measures 10mm (13/32")
wide by 315mm (12 7/16") long overall (handle has some black
staining). The medium sized chisel made by Ward measures 5mm (3
1/6") wide by 304mm (12") long overall (blade has mainly
light pitting, handle has previous users name stamp). The smallest
woodworking chisels marked Mitchell & Co and measures 2mm (3/32")
wide by 287mm (11 5/16") long overall. Handle has a 30mm long
crack.

SOLD Brades Co Mortice Chisels
Two mortice chisels by Brades. The smallest chisel is marked
Brades Co cast steel, blade measures 6mm wide by 174mm long and
overall the tool measures 312mm long. The other heavy duty mortice
chisel has a large chunky ash handle made by Brades Co, has a large
steel ring between handle and the blade, blade measures 13mm wide
by 212mm long, overall this old woodworking chisel measures 366mm
long. Both chisels have nice clean handles, with very small amounts
of very minor pitting to blade, some denting on top of blade (all
as seen in photo).

A specialist designed heavy duty 1 inch registered chisel by Henry Taylor, ideal for chopping mortices and can also be used
for any heavy duty tasks.
This Henry Taylor woodworking chisels made with a hardwood handle,
leather washer to absorb shock, steel ferule and a steel hoop fitted to the striking end of handle to resist splitting.
The registered chisel blades are a lot thicker than ordinary firmer chisel blades and are carefully forged, correctly hardened and tempered,
then hardness-tested to guarantee edge retention.
