Beech toothing plane made by W.Marples & Sons, rear of plane is marked 2IN. Wedge is faintly marked with part of the original Marples clover leaf décor. Retains a good length Marples Hibernia toothing iron. This old woodworking plane has a number of large dents to the ends of the plane and to the edges of the sole and around the mouth of the plane.

Collection includes: 1-1/4”, 1”, 3/4”, 1/2” and 3/8” (32mm, 25mm, 18mm, 12mm and 9mm)
The 1-1/4” (32mm) socket chisel has boxwood handle, blade has two small dents to  face and is loose.
The 1” (25mm) has beech handle.
The 3/4” (18mm) has an Ash handle which has a small dent.
The 1/2” (12mm) has a Boxwood London pattern handle.
The 3/8” (9mm) has a Beech handle, some very minor pitting to blade.
