Features two levels the main level is protected by a swivelling nickel plated cover, the smaller level is used to measure the opposite direction. The base measures 202mm (8”) long overall and maintains an estimated 98% of its original black japanning intact.

A rosewood level marked A. Mathieson & Son Glasgow & Edinburgh Warranted 9D Proved Tubes. The levels brass top and feet stretch the whole length of this Mathieson level. The tool has some denting to the brass plates, mainly the base, to be expected for its  age.
Measures 10" (253mm) long overall, maintains original bubble.
