These planes were fitted with thick parallel irons marked Norris London to the front and often marked Robt Sorby to the rear side of the iron. The lever cap is made from gunmetal with a knurled adjuster marked Norris London, the rear lateral adjuster is also marked with the Norris London stamp. | |

As seen in the photograph the post war Norris planes had a screw fitted to the front and rear infills, pre war planes had smooth handles without the screws, earlier models infills we made from rosewood. Features a very fine mouth that was manufactured either square or with a skew mouth. The maker's name Norris is stamped into the front end of the infill. The Norris no. 7 plane varied in width and length. | |
