SOLD Mathieson & Son Dovetailed Panel Plane
An Old Steel panel plane with rosewood infills, front infill is
marked Mathieson & Son Glasgow, blade holder is marked A. Mathieson
& Son Glasgow solid steel warranted, blade is marked W. Marples
& Sons Hibernia that has little blade left. The rosewood infills
have previous users name stamps, front bun has a large chunk missing
and the rear handle has a chip to the top see photo. The body of
this old Mathieson plane is dovetailed, the body has some light
pitting and dents. Measures 16 1/2" (420mm) long overall.
