SOLD H.Slater Smoothing Plane
An old and rare rosewood infill plane by Slater, the lever caps
marked H.Slater maker Meredith St Clerkenwell London, plane iron
cap and blade are both marked W. Marples & Sons (good length
blade). The outer body of this old Slater woodworking plane has
some light pitting, scratching and black staining. The rosewood
infills are nice and clean, free from dents, both of which have
the previous users name stamps. A fine and rare plane for its age.
