Cast iron body maintains an estimated 95-90% of its blue japanning, the front of this woodworking plane has been enamelled white by the previous user. The handles retain little of their original lacquer, the plane also lacks the side handle.

Stained beech handled jack plane no 05, made in England by Record. Retains a near full length cutting iron marked Record Tungsten Steel, Best Crucible Cast. Body maintains an estimated 95% of its japanning (red enamel has been placed on top of the original japanning at either ends of the woodworking plane). Handles have some slight loss of lacquer, the rear handle has a very small chip. A good useable Record woodworking plane no 05.
