Marples Jack Plane
A nice thick bodied jack plane made by Marples and fitted with the original rosewood handles. Cast iron body is marked Marples Sheffield England, body maintains an estimated 96%+ of its black japanning. Retains a good length cutting iron marked W.Marples & Sons Sheffield England. Rear rosewood handle retains part of the original Marples decal (also marked with the previous users initials). The outer body of this woodworking plane has some light scratches and minor black staining. A nice old Marples jack plane.
