A 28” beech transitional woodworking plane marked to nose of the plane Stanley Rule & Level Co No. 33. Retains a good length plane iron marked Stanley Rule & Level Co to front and the rears marked Stanley PAT AP’L 19.92. Blade cover’s marked L.Bailey’s Patent Dec 24.18.67. The sole of this Stanley woodworking plane has had a new base pinned to it. Cast iron body maintains an estimated 70% of its black japanning.

Beech handled plough plane with brass inlay and fittings made by A.Mathieson & Son Glasgow, marked to rear of plane No 8B. Includes a single plough cutter marked Alex Mathieson & Son Glasgow 3 and measures 7mm wide. The plane has a good replacement wedge, the depth stop side plate and screw has also been replaced by the previous user, in doing so has also chiselled a small piece out of the side fence (see photos). All parts are moving smoothly and there is a nice feel to the plane.

A fine hardwood chamfer plane fitted with a scroll wedge and adjustable depth stop. This nice old chamfer plane is marked with the previous users name stamp to either end.

Two Grecian Ogee's by Nurse fronts of woodworking planes are marked C.Nurse 32 Mill Street Maidstone, (plus Nurse logo of the Horse). Largest plane measures 2 7/8" (72mm) wide O/A blade measures 2" (52mm) wide O/A. The plane measures 2 9/16" (65mm) wide O/A, blade measures 1 3/4" (45mm) wide O/A. Both woodworking planes are in a lovely condition with very few marks, near full length blades, both have previous users names printed into the planes.

An old beech Double reeding woodworking plane with a boxwood running strip. The plane has previous users name stamps, a previous user has also drilled two holes through the plane (see photo) at some point to allow for a fence. The wedge appears to have a single treated worm hole. Maintains a good length cutter that measures 12mm (1/2") wide.

A collection of 13 hollow and round woodworking planes marked Baird Gardner St Brighton. Collection includes pairs 18, 16, 14, 12 and 10 plus single round planes numbers 6, 4 and 2 rounds only. There are a small number of old worm holes to hollow and round planes no 10 and a single holes to hollow and rounds no 18. Collection also includes a Grecian Ogee plane. Also made by Baird of Brighton, rear of plane’s marked 7/8. All planes are marked with previous users name stamp and all retain good length cutting irons. A nice old collection of woodworking planes.

Two boxed beads marked Atkin & Sons Sheffield Works Birmingham and marked to rears 3/4 and 7/8 on the larger plane. Believe to have traded from around the mid 1850’s to 1900. Both of these old woodworking planes retain good length cutting irons.
