A 28” beech transitional woodworking plane marked to nose of the plane Stanley Rule & Level Co No. 33. Retains a good length plane iron marked Stanley Rule & Level Co to front and the rears marked Stanley PAT AP’L 19.92. Blade cover’s marked L.Bailey’s Patent Dec 24.18.67. The sole of this Stanley woodworking plane has had a new base pinned to it. Cast iron body maintains an estimated 70% of its black japanning.

Face plate retains little of its nickel plating. Body maintains an estimated 92-94% of japanning. The sole of this woodworking plane has a deep scratch along 290mm long (see photo).

Beech handled jack plane no 5 1/2, made in England by Stanley. Retains a good length Stanley cutter and cutter cover have medium pitting though won’t effect use as the cutting area of the cutter is clean and free of pitting. The face plate has very little of its nickel plating intact. Body maintains an estimated 90% of its black japanning. Thick cast iron body has some denting and light scratching. Reflected in overall price.

Stanley 113 Compass Plane
Compass plane no 113 by Stanley with side wheel adjuster. Retains a good length cutting iron marked Staley PAT APL.19.92. Front adjuster handle’s marked “Stanley Rule and Level Co”, the plating worn to the top of this handle. The hinges of the plane have been painted black by previous user probably to protect it. The sole has some speckling of black staining, plus a small patch of light pitting. An early Stanley compass plane. Body maintains an estimated 85% of its black japanning.

Stanley Fore Plane no 6
Thick bodied no 6 fore plane with beech handles made in England by Stanley Bailey. Retains a good length Stanley cutter which has some light pitting/ staining. Handles have little of their lacquer remaining, rear handle has a crack to the toe of the handle (won’t effect the planes use). Body maintains an estimated 92 – 94% of its black japanning. Outer body has some light staining. A good old and useable Stanley fore plane.

SOLD Stanley Rebate Plane no 78
A boxed 78 duplex, rabbet and filletster plane, made in England by Stanley, cutting iron is also marked Stanley and has 15mm left to slot. The blade adjusting levers locating pins have been worn down to the point where they are unable to locate into the cutter for fine adjustment (Still a useable plane, earlier plays were actually manufactured without this adjusting lever). The body appears to of been re-japanned in places. A complete plane with side fence, depth stop and a user made wooden box.
