A beech transitional smoothing plane, marked to front end Stanley Rule & Level Co no 24. Retains a good length cutter marked Stanley PAT APL 19.92. This old Stanley plane has a number of patches of black staining to the wooden body, there are 6-8 scratches on the sole of the plane and the lever cap has been repainted at some point, reflected in the price.

Thick bodied beech handled jack plane no 5 1/2 made by Stanley. Retains a near full length Stanley cutting iron. Handles have little of the original lacquer remaining. A nice old woodworking plane the outer still maintains much of the original machine marks.

An old pair of nickel plated trammel points marked Stanley no 4, Made in USA. These trammel points maintain an estimated 95%+ of their original nickel plating, this design of trammels features a pencil holder.

Rosewood handled jointer plane no 8, made in USA by Stanley Bailey. This jointer plane’s fitted with a good length replacement Record tungsten vanadium steel cutting iron, face plate retains little of its nickel plating, body maintains an estimated 92 – 94% of its black japanning. A good useable woodworking no8 jointer plane.
