Stanley Jointer Plane no 8 (USA)

A rosewood handled jointer plane no 8, made in USA by Stanley Bailey. Cutting iron’s marked Stanley SW, Made in USA. Body retains an estimated 90 – 95% of its black japanning. The lever cap has some loss of nickel plating (see photo). The cast iron body has some minor dents, much of the original machining is still visible, plus retains crisp edges. A nice old Stanley jointer plane no 8. Cutter sharpened on dispatch.
