Stanley 113 Compass Plane
Compass plane no 113 by Stanley with side wheel adjuster. Retains a good length cutting iron marked Staley PAT APL.19.92. Front adjuster handle’s marked “Stanley Rule and Level Co”, the plating worn to the top of this handle. The hinges of the plane have been painted black by previous user probably to protect it. The sole has some speckling of black staining, plus a small patch of light pitting. An early Stanley compass plane. Body maintains an estimated 85% of its black japanning.
