An old shoulder plane with rosewood infill and wedge, has a E. Preston & Sons cutter that has a slot down the centre of the cutter. Rear of plane has a number of dents (see photo). Body is marked with some speckling of minor pitting / staining. This woodworking shoulder plane has a fine mouth, slightly rounded at one corner.
