We believe this to be a very old brass back tenon saw by Taylor of London.
The spine is marked 'Taylor, London'.
We believe this saw dates to around 1820 - 1840 which is very old for saws.
This saw is sold as a collectable due to its age and it has a split in the handle by the top front brass button (please see photo).
It looks like the previous owner had been using this saw as the teeth look to be well set and about ready to go.
Blade length: 14”
Condition: blade is straight, all teeth present, speckling of black staining/pitting with a couple of patches of pitting, has a split in the handle by the top front brass button, please see photos for condition.
