A scarce, old Disston Philadelphia hand saw with decorative carved handle.
The blade no longer has its etching but we believe this is a Disston No. 16 Saw which dates to the late 1800's - early 1900's.
I believe this is the first Disston No. 16 Saw we have had.
The saw is fitted with a decorative handle with beautiful chip carved foliage.
The medallion is marked 'H Disston & Sons, Philada'.
We are starting to put up for sale saws we have been holding in our stores for a long time.

Condition: blade is straight (tiny, tiny curve), all teeth present, feels sharp but presume probably would benefit from a sharpen, please see photos for condition.
