Buy from a wide variety of wooden handled saws which in the vast main are woodwork saws with a few specialist saws for cutting other materials. The saws in stock often include Disston Saws (also sometimes spelt Diston Saws), Spear & Jackson Saws, Tyzack Saws and many, many more old saws. The saws include crosscut saws, rip saws and panel saws.

The saws range in date from recent secondhand saws through to antique saws with a number of old Victorian saws. The majority of the old hand saws date C.1880 - 1970's. The secondhand saws we see from the 1980's to present day are usually Sandvik saws, Spear & Jackson saws, Roberts Lee Saws, and Thomas Flinn Saws.

The old tenon saws and dovetail saws are either brass-backed saws or steel-backed saws. The dovetail saws either have an open handle or closed handle design whereas the tenon saws nearly always have a close handle design. The saws in the 'Specialist Saws' section can include metal-work saws, gardening pruning saws through to vintage meat saws.

We have a number of old saws not on the website, if there is a particular old hand saw you are looking for please contact us and we will see if we can help.
