An old hand rip saw.
A really good medallion. The medallion is marked 'Trade Mark Nonpareil' along with an elephant logo.
The blade is marked with a faded etching which includes 'Abraham Ashton, Established 1848, Sheffield'.
The handle has probably come from an old Tyzack saw due to the medallion however I am unsure if there are any links/cross-over from Ashton to Tyzack.
The handle and the blade are firmly secured to each other.

Condition: blade is straight, all teeth present, feels and looks sharp but presume may benefit from a sharpen, please see photos for condition.
