An old imperial Zig-Zag Rabone folding rule.
This folding rule design was painted black with white incremental markings.
These old zig-zag rules very often seem to be in a bad way when we see them so with this trend, probably will be a tool which will rapidly becomer rarer.
Condition: the paintwork has worn in various places particularly on both the outside edges (the markings were originally engraved into the wood so can still be seen where the paint has faided but not as clear), please see photos for condition.
