A super, old Drabble & Sanderson dovetail saw with open handle and brass spine.
This old brass back dovetail saw is marked on the spine 'Drabble & Sanderson, London' and 'Best Steel, Warrented'.
The person who sold us this saw said the tool belonged to his grandad who was 'Leslie George Hyland. He was born in 1902 and died in 1982: He became a master wheelwright and worked on the Lord Mayor’s State Coach. During the 2nd World War he was asked to make and supply stretchers to the Army'.
