A lovely old Gunmetal shoulder plane no. 20R made by Norris, London. This well-made plane has a steel sole, good clean tight mouth, rosewood infill and wedge and retains the original Norris plane iron. Wedge, blade and plane body are all marked with same production number ‘1’. Norris is considered the Rolls Royce of woodworking planes.
