An old very interesting, rare hand saw.
This saw is sold as a collectable.
The blade is marked 'W Webster, Sheffield, Refined, Cast Steel'.
The blade also has the unsual feature of having measurements marked at the top of the blade with the measurements running from 18 at the end of the blade to 0 at the handle.
These measurement markings are also marked with the wording 'English Measure'.
We believe this saw dates to around 1850-1880.
